Open Daily Scavenger Hunt Pick up your clues at the KNS Headquarters at the West Yellowstone Visitor Center at 30 Yellowstone Avenue and venture around the town to find the hidden treasures. Take pictures of what you find and show them to the coordinator at the headquarters by 2pm Sunday for your prize!
Open Daily West Yellowstone Library. Featuring various Local Artist exhibits throughout the Season.

9:15AM Rendezvous Nordic Ski Race
The race will be limited to the first one thousand participants registered. The entry fee includes participation in the race, bail-out shuttles along the course, aid stations, finish area food and refreshments as well as race souvenirs and promotional materials. The entry fee also includes admission to the Awards Ceremony and dessert to be held at the West Yellowstone Holiday Inn. Registration closes Thursday, March 6 at Noon. 9:30AM "Yellowstone Snowcoach Samplers" - FREE
Climb on board for a unique experience. Leaving at 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM (NO charge for the snowcoach ride, but a Yellowstone Park pass is required). Please be there 15 minutes prior to departure. Ride a snowcoach into Yellowstone Park to 7-mile bridge to get a sampling of what Yellowstone is like in winter. A park pass is required.Children should be accompanied by an adult and you should pre-register on the Contact Page on the website. Sign-up and get Yellowstone Park passes at the West Yellowstone Visitor Center, 30 Yellowstone Avenue.
10:00AM "Birds of Prey" Presentation - FREE
Join a naturalist from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center for a presentation featuring live raptors! Meet some of our resident, non-releasable raptors and discover the adaptations that help them to survive our Yellowstone winters. Located at the West Yellowstone Visitor Center, 30 Yellowstone Avenue.
10:00AM - 12:00PM Kids Ice Fishing Camp - FREE
Ice Camp consists of in-class and on-ice fishing tutorials delivered by experienced, Pro and local fisherman. The curriculum promotes safety, conservation and environmental stewardship. Sponsors provide equipment for the activity, and kids who sign up and participate receive complimentary ice rods and tackle. Children should be accompanied by an adult and be dressed for an outside adventure. Only 25 slots are available. Pre-register on Contact Page on the website. Free hot dogs, chips, hot chocolate, and cookies after on-ice activities. Location: Kirkwood Resort & Marina Boathouse. (Directions from West Yellowstone: Travel North on US 191/US 287 8.2 miles, turn left - west onto US 287/Hebgen Lake Rd and travel 10.8 miles. Kirkwood Resort & Marina Boathouse will be on the left. Follow signs.)
11:00AM - 1:00PM M120 Kids Snowmobile Rides -FREE
Kids from 6 - 11 years old can try out a child-sized Arctic Cat/Yamaha M120 Snowmobile setup for a slow, safe ride. All children must be accompanied by an adult and the adult must sign a release of liability. Recommend snow boots and gloves. Helmets provided. New Location: Pioneer Park at the corner of Gibbon Ave. & Dunraven St.

It's tough to survive our long winters. Create your own winter-ready predator at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. Then meet the famous wolves and bears, participate in a scavenger hunt, or participate in Keeper Kids (add'l $2 charge). Located at 201 S. Canyon Street next to the IMAX Theatre.
1:00PM Winter Games at the West Yellowstone Ice Rink
Join us for fun and games at the community ice rink. Children of all ages welcome. Come dressed for outdoor conditions. Skates will not be available, but are not required. Ice Rink is located at Pioneer Park at the corner of Gibbon Ave. & Dunraven St.
1:30PM YNP Snow-Shoe Program - FREE
Discover Yellowstone’s fascinating winter ecology while wearing snowshoes.  Join a ranger for a 2-mile walk into Yellowstone National Park along the Riverside Trail.  Meet at the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center at the corner of Yellowstone Avenue and Canyon Street in West Yellowstone, Montana.  Bring snowshoes-no experience necessary. Also bring water and a snack.  3 hours. For information, please call 307-344-2876.  Snowshoes are available for rent at: Freeheel & Wheel, Bud Lilly’s and Yellowstone Alpen Guides.
2:00PM Afternoon Talk with a Yellowstone Park Ranger
Join a ranger for a program highlighting a fascinating aspect of Yellowstone’s natural, cultural or scenic wonders.  Weekly program descriptions will be posted in the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center at the corner of Yellowstone Avenue and Canyon Street in West Yellowstone, Montana, and at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center at 201 South Canyon Street in West Yellowstone.   Meet at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. There is a fee if you choose to visit the rest of the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. 45 minutes.

4:00PM "Yellowstone" Movie at the Yellowstone IMAX Theatre.
FREE for kids with reduced admission for adults. Located at 101 South Canyon, next to the Visitor Center.
6:00PM - 9:00PM “Smores and Skating” - FREE** Join the fun from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the West Yellowstone Ice Rink. Warm-up with hot beverages, toast some marshmallows, and make your own S' more. All the fixings provided. Soup will be available from The Book Peddler for $5 adults, $3 kids (proceeds beneit Kids'N'Snow). Bring your own sled for our Kid's Sledding Hill. Or, try out West Yellowstone's ice skating rink. Skates available. Old-fashioned family fun for everyone of every age. New Location: Pioneer Park at the corner of Gibbon Ave. & Dunraven St.

Bonnie Whitman accompanied by Gator, her Yellowstone Park search-and-rescue dog, will present a free program about wilderness safety for children from 5-12 years of age. This fun interactive time will teach kids what to do if they are lost in the woods including hands-on skills for shelter, staying in one place, and getting familiar with search dogs. Located at the West Yellowstone Visitor Center, 30 Yellowstone Avenue.
10:00AM WYSEF Youth Ski Festival
Registration from 9:00-9:45am. Games begin at 10:00am All skiers 13 & under encouraged to attend. Relay Race, Obstacle Course, Musical Chairs & More. $10 entry fee. Location: Between Rendezvous Trailhead Building & Povah Center. www.rendezvousrace.com
